Röben USA: new headquarters with DesignCenter and ClinkerForum

Röben is putting up new headquarters for their subsidiary Triangle Brick in Durham, North Carolina. The new administration building will also house a modern DesignCenter and a ClinkerForum, where interested builders and architects can gather information on the merits of thermally insulated clinker façades and about the diversity of colours and wide range of finishes offered by Triangle Brick‘s clinkers. The new headquarters are to be ready for business this summer.

While the clinkers for the new building are being produced at Röben‘s own American facilities, the roof tiles will come from the company‘s factory in Brüggen on Germany‘s lower Rhine. The flat-black-glazed Flanders roof tiles will not only be giving the structure optimal protection, but also serve as a test to establish how well high-quality burnt-clay roof tiles can fare on the U.S. market.

Röben has been active in the USA for over 30 years now. Back in 1979, Röben bought the American enterprise Triangle Brick Co. in Durham, North Carolina and has since systematically expanded it. Triangle Brick now counts among the leading producers of clinker bricks on the East Coast and ranges within the Top Ten of the American brick and tile industry.
