MSK’s new stretch hood machine is constructed in a simple and robust way and withstands dusty work environment without problems. Even sharp-edged products on pallets can be packaged with film, hermetically sealed and secured for transport.

MSK stretch hood machines stretch each individual film hood for any pallet size as little as possible, both in longitudinal and cross direction. This allows the use of thinner film for varying pallet sizes while increasing packaging stability. Moreover, film consumption is reduced thanks to the patented MSK technology for gathering the film and the MSK vertical film tightening system.

The energy consumption of the stretch hood machine MSK Tensiontech could be reduced to less than 0.07 kWh per packaging cycle back in the year 2000.

The stretch hood machine MSK Tensiontech offers unique advantages for maintenance too: the head is automatically lowered to ground level, making work on the machine much easier. The simple plug-in connections ensure quick and easy replacement of spare parts. Moreover, the toothed belt technology used in MSK machines makes for a maintenance-free system.

For a packaging rate of more than 50 pallets per hour, MSK uses a special procedure that ensures the reliability of the welds also for high output.

Depending on the property of a pallet load, a film belt can be applied to any critical load area in addition to the stretch hood. With the MSK under-stretch procedure the film is fastened well under the pallet base and therefore the load stability is noticeably increased. The new machine special can process two different film formats as standard.
