Moisture measurement at high temperatures and in dust-laden processes

The robust, patented vereta high-temperature moisture sensor AFS-HT300, which measures absolute moisture levels according to the dew-point principle, has a working temperature range that peaks at 300° C.

The sensor makes use of a thermal system in which only a nickel-plated, closed-end tube protrudes into the process space. As such, it can be used directly in contaminated air. If necessary, the probe tip can be cleaned with ease, since the measuring elements are perfectly protected. The temperature is measured along with the absolute moisture level. Sensors with active or passive cooling are available for relevant applications. The passive version can do service in polluted environments.
