US Tile, member of the Boral Limited group, is one of the largest manufacturers of clay roof tiles in the United States and is specialized in authentic clay with a broad range of clay tiles meeting the needs of todays homebuilder. US Tile placed an order for the construction of a new roof tile factory near Sacramento. Ceratec delivered and successfully commissioned the complete turn-key plant. US Tile expects a 50 per cent increase in clay manufacturing capacity in western U.S. markets.
1 Objective
The new plant will produce 15 million S tiles annually. The product range includes S tiles and Mission tiles. The new plant will increase capacity in order to better serve the customers in the southwest USA, where clay tiles are used predominantly on higher value housing.
