Equipceramic and the company S.A.R.L Comep conclude a new contract
This new brickworks has been designed for the production of 150 000 t standard bricks per year and it will be fully operative by the beginning of 2012. It will be the company’s fourth production line after the two plants in El-Ouarsenis and the one in El-Heumis.
Equipceramic and S.A.R.L. Comep have worked together to lay down the technological basis for the project. This foresees the installation of the Celeris rapid dryer, a high-performance counter-flow dryer, as well as the Gaudi sealed kiln for firing under high pressure. All the equipment has been adapted to the specific proprieties of the clays to be used and to the specific building requirements determined by the seismic instability of the area.
Moreover, this project has been equipped with all required systems to guarantee the automation of the handling process, resulting in the application of the most advanced quality standards. S.A.R.L. Comep will therefore be able to further strengthen its leadership in the Algerian market.
