Novaceramic – one of the most modern brickworks in Mexico

Novaceramic, a leading Mexican brick manufacturer, is part of the “Resnova” Group, a subsidiary of the Spanish-based company “Ceranor”. The brickworks has a daily production rate of 1 mill. units.

1 Introduction

Following an accumulated decline of 2.2% during the ­financial crisis between 2008 and 2009, the Mexican building industry is currently enjoying a slight recovery and accounts for around 6.5% of the country’s gross domestic product (GDP).

2 Novaceramic

Since its founding in 1993, Novaceramic has grown steadily and currently has a production capacity of 1 mill. bricks/day, corresponding to a product volume of 2 000 tonnes. Working from Tlaxcala, the company sells around 35 000 tonnes bricks per month and has an extensive commercial network, which includes ten sales centres (CEDIS)...
