The brickworks built and commissioned by Lingl in 2011 for the company OOO“Gazstroy” is one of the largest in the territory of the Russian Federation. The plant in Rjabovo, around 75 km southeast of St. Petersburg, consists of two completely independent production lines for the production of clinker bricks for fair-faced brickwork and large-size clay bricks, which can also be filled.
1 Introduction
The entire production plant was erected by German suppliers. Lingl was responsible for installation of the main part of the production plant, starting from the cutters to the packaging systems. Installation of the comprehensive equipment was started in August 2010 and the acceptance runs of the two production lines were performed in October and November 2011.
The dimensions of the “double plant” are impressive: the complete Lingl technology for the two production lines is installed in one building with a length of 180 m and a width of 140 m.
