Creaton as all-around supplier – also for concrete roofing tiles

Long known as a specialist supplier of clay roofing tiles, Creaton AG has broadened its base via strategic reorientation.

The company is now emerging as a wide-assortment rooftop expert. The first step in that direction has already been taken: Creaton‘s big new range of high-quality concrete roofing tiles “powered by Eternit“. The next step, set for 2017, will widen the scope of supply to include roof, façade and corrugated panels of fibre cement, also produced by sister company Eternit.

This new strategic reorientation bundles the core competences of those two German Etex Group enterprises. Creaton‘s vast roofing competence and close-knit distribution network are being extrapolated onto the composite product profile of Etex‘s German subsidiaries, and all roofing materials are to be bundled under the Creaton label. Eternit, meanwhile, will continue to stand for architectural competence for façades while holding the reins of the competence centre “Production of fibre cement and concrete roofing tiles”.
