Dust – current developments in workplace health and safety limits

This talk addresses the current limits for dust in workplace health and safety regulations. In particular, the new “A” dust limit of 1.25 mg/m3 and the conditions that must be met to qualify for the transitional period up to 31.12.2018 are explained. Furthermore, the 0.05 mg/m3 assessment criterion for crystalline silica is discussed.
