El Hoceinia: Equipceramic’s new customer in Algeria

Equipceramic, S.A. has a new customer in Algeria, B.N.K., a large brick manufacturer, which has been in operation since 2000 and also owns a brickworks in Khemis Khechna.

At the beginning of 2015, Equipceramic, S.A. and B.N.K concluded a contract for the construction of a second brick production line for this company that will be located in El-Hoceinia, Wilaya Aïn Defla. The project aims at the construction of a factory for the manufacture of perforated bricks and ceiling blocks with a production capacity of 210 000 t/year. The drying and firing process will be equipped with Equipceramic’s state-of-the-art technology including a Celeris rapid dryer and sealed tunnel kiln, which have proven very effective in other similar installations in Algeria. Dispatch packs will be strapped on pallets so they can either be directly loaded on trucks or picked up by a forklift to be stored in the yard.

Construction work has already started and commissioning of the factory is scheduled for the second half of 2016.
