Franken Maxit: Mortar innovations

The mortar pad launched at Bau 2015 is now available for interior walls: Besides the sizes 42 x 30, 36 x 24 and 19.5 x 36 cm for exterior walls, the dry mortar pads are now available in more slender sizes (11 x 36/17 x 36 cm) for interior walls.

With the “winter mortar” “maxit multi 292 Ice”, Franken Maxit offers an adhesive and reinforcement mortar with a setting and hardening behaviour that is not impaired even at temperatures down to -10° C. Thanks to its flexibility in withstanding temperature fluctuations, it is especially suitable for the transitional times of the year.

A new mineral repair mortar for precision blocks combines the advantages of a high-strength masonry mortar with the insulation properties of a lightweight masonry mortar. While builders have so far had to use different types of mortar for levelling layers, “maxit therm 825” simplifies the process considerably. It can be used for the levelling course as well as for the incorporation of lintels or shutter boxes. With this, the work and time required by the bricklayer is reduced substantially and thermal bridges are effectively avoided.
