New clay brick plant for the Al Watania Group

In autumn 2015, operation at a new brick plant was started up by the Al Watania Group in Saudi Arabia. The plant was a turn-key installation supplied by Sabo S.A. With its high production capacity, the new production line is designed to meet current market demand in terms of both quantity and quality standards.

1 Introduction

The Al Watania Group is well-known in Saudi Arabia and already owns two brick plants in addition to other industrial installations. The new plant is located in the industrial zone of Dhurma, and is one of the largest and technologically most advanced brick production lines on the Arabian Peninsula. It is designed for the manufacture of a total of 17 different products including horizontally perforated blocks, ceiling blocks and load-bearing blocks. The production capacity is 1 000 t per day over two 10-hour shifts.
