Tasteful engobes and glazes – as individual as you yourself!

Wendel GmbH, a German manufacturer of engobes and glazes, will once again be presenting its products at ceramitec. Visitors from the ceramic industry can expect an unimaginable variety of colours in matt, semi-gloss and high-gloss finishes. Whether for roofing tiles, clinker bricks, tiles or other ceramic products, the advantage lies in Wendel’s development and smelting of its own glass frits as the foundation stone for robust systems. Wendel’s own smelting plant ensures that frits can be developed precisely in accordance with customer specifications, which makes the company the ideal partner for perfectly tailored solutions for engobes and glazes.

The smelting and milling plant in the central Hessian town of Dillenburg with its rotary furnaces provides the basis for the end-products with bubble-free, residue-free, fully smelted ceramic frits, for surface finishing with a special shine or also matt finishes. All this reflects the company’s motto “Quality is our recipe – engobes and glazes our passion.”
