Wassmer Group presents three-stage surface grinding system

This version of the Liner 2010 surface grinding machine with six grinding tools is the largest available configuration. The grinding machine achieves highest feed rates for brick grinding routines. The three-stage grinding process, in combination with a tool diameter of 1100 mm, enables gentle grinding with positive effects on surface quality. The large diameter of the grinding wheels extends the length of the on-brick grinding path, producing better results in the case of very narrow webs. Other advantages include longer tool life thanks to diamond impregnation and greater endurance thanks to the longer diamond cooling phase. In addition, the grinding dust is expelled and extracted well below the feed mechanism.

Merits

patented width adjustment for accommodating all sizes; customized solutions available

centrical aspiration for safe evacuation of grinding dust

1100 mm grinding wheel diameter for optimal cooling, long service life and endurance, plus unparalleled dust removal

arbour bearings for smooth, accurate operation, powered by a motor with synchronous-belt drive (for less power consumption and low maintenance costs)

patented roller-lever pressure unit for brick-to-brick compensation beyond 15 mm

patented actual-size and tool wear detection via tracing wheels

robust toothed feed belt with parallel positioning synchrony

innovative mechanical design concept for minimized preventive and corrective maintenance requirement
