Wienerberger Austria and Tondach Gleinstätten present the
austrian brick and roof award 13/14
The austrian brick and roof award for contemporary architecture is to be presented now for the fourth time by Wienerberger Austria and Tondach Gleinstätten. Organizational platform for the competition is the Association of Austrian Clay Brick and Roofing Tile Producers (VÖZ).
The competition will showcase the attractive, exciting and versatile use of clay bricks and roofing tiles in building projects. For the first time, facade design with clay bricks and tiles will be included as a separate category.
The award will be presented in four categories:
› Residential construction – small volume
› Residential / non-residential construction – large volume
› Pitched roof with clay roofing tiles
› Facade design with clay bricks and tiles
The prize money totals € 10 000. Entries can be submitted up to 29 March 2013. The winners in the four categories will be presented to the public in autumn/winter 2013.
The top ten projects from the Austrian competition will represent the country in the international brick award ’14.
