Managing Director Jürgen Simon Celebrates His 45th Anniversary with Hubert Gerharz GmbH

On August 1, 2026, Jürgen Simon, Managing Director of Hubert Gerharz GmbH, based in Ransbach-Baumbach, will celebrate his 45th anniversary with the company.

When he began his commercial apprenticeship on August 1, 1981, at what was then a family-run business, he laid the foundation for an extraordinary career in the ceramics industry. Early on, he demonstrated a special ability to quickly and thoroughly familiarize himself with a wide variety of sales tasks. In addition to the sale of ceramic slabs and clay mixtures, this also included the sale of Italian ceramic machinery and firing aids for the ceramic industry.

It soon became clear that his strengths lay in field sales. His keen curiosity, as well as his deep interest in the intricacies of ceramic manufacturing processes, gave him remarkable technical expertise over the years. This enabled him to consistently select the right ceramic raw materials, clays, and clay mixtures for his customers’ individual requirements.

For decades, Jürgen Simon impressed not only as a dedicated sales expert but also through his keen understanding of people. With his open manner and his ability to consistently inspire customers with new ideas, he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s development. Under his leadership, Hubert Gerharz GmbH grew into a successful and respected raw materials company that today—after more than 110 years—stands for quality, expertise, and personalized service.

The entire staff of Hubert Gerharz GmbH extends heartfelt congratulations on this extraordinary anniversary and wishes Jürgen Simon all the best for the future.

Good luck and: Clay is passion!
