25 years Thermoplan – 25 years as partner of the heavy clay sector

For 25 years now the Thermoplan GmbH, with its headquarters near Munich, has been providing solutions from the fields of process automation, operational data logging and quality testing.

In its early days this innovative company specialized in the optimization of thermal processes and soon developed a process control system for kilns/dryers and a comprehensive operational data logging system.

Since Christian Nether took over the management in 1996 the core competence in the thermal processes has been further developed and the programme offered has been extended to include plasticity regulation, automation/control system construction, conversion from S5 to S7 as well as quality testing units (measurement, sound testing) for clay roofing tiles. Within the scope of conversion from S5 to S7, comprehensive experience is available meanwhile in all works sections and for all manufacturers.

For the modernization (2004–2009) of a plant in Northern France which had been unchanged for 60 years, the Thermoplan GmbH was able to bring in its many years of experience in the heavy clay sector and supplied the planning, dryer concept and realization of the investments in cooperation with the customer.

In the years 2003–2008, beside the commitment for the heavy clay sector, several comprehensive projects were realized in the field of control system construction for technical ceramics (diesel particle filters) in Europe.

This year, for the fifth time already, the Thermoplan GmbH will be represented at the Ceramitec in Munich and will make use of this opportunity to celebrate the company jubilee.
