Welcome to the 39th National Meeting of Brazil’s Ceramics Industry in the growth year of 2010

The premier event for Brazil’s red ceramics industry is rapidly approaching and Anicer (the Association of the Brazilian Ceramics Industry) and its partners are inviting all ceramists and suppliers from Brazil and other countries to come to the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina to celebrate with them this time of strength and productivity in the industry and to use the meeting as an opportunity to exchange experience and forge new business links.

Brazilian building ceramics are on the up! Government projects to combat the housing shortage have brought an ever stronger upswing in the construction industry. Our market is living its best moment in the last 20 years. This is also motivating the ceramics industry to grow and improve.

This buoyant mood is shared by all the enterprises, from north to south of Brazil, regardless of their location, size or market. The Brazilian ceramists want, more than ever, to do better, produce more, conserve energy, while respecting the environment by preventing all types of waste. Now that‘s sustainability!

In this spirit the 13th Expoanicer – Exhibition of Machinery, Equipment, Products, Services and Supplies for the Ceramic Industry will be held, with the participation of the leading Brazilian and international brands and for the promotion of technology in Brazilian factories. We have no doubt that the trade fair will offer solutions for every company.

The technology clinics held at all previous events have been further improved, and will continue to highlight the strategic issues facing our business today.

But the Forum is focusing on our biggest concern – the market. We shall have two days to analyse, discuss and absorb the experiences of the market for masonry bricks and roofing tiles, along with our European partners who will report specifically on their successes and their mistakes in Spain, the Netherlands and Portugal.

But it isn’t all work. Alongside our friends and partners, we shall close our National Meeting in Santa Catarina by honouring the João-de-Barro prize winners for 2010, accompanied by the sound of one of the most popular Brazilian singers, Elba Ramalho.

Join us to celebrate this great moment of growth – we’ll be waiting for you!
