AKA Klinker GmbH changes its name to Vandersanden Deutschland

The Belgian family company Vandersanden will divide its product portfolio into the wall and floor segments in future. Under a new name and with a new logo, Vandersanden Germany will cover the clay paver segment in future. With this clear separation, the company wants to further specialize in the different areas.

Henk van de Graaf is taking over the wall segment (façade, facing bricks, brick slips) in the sales department. Helge Behrens is Managing Director of the newly founded Vandersanden Deutschland GmbH, responsible for the floor segment (paving).

Vandersanden manufactures bricks, brick slips, pavers and insulating façade systems.With a total of nine production sites, Vandersanden is one of Europe‘s largest brick-making family-owned companies, producing around 550 mill. bricks annually for the European market and far beyond. The bricks are made by 650 employees in Belgium (headquarters), the Netherlands, France, Germany and England.
