Double ISO certification for Keller HCW

Quality and innovation are two words firmly associated with Keller HCW and now a fundamental element within the company, which has now been confirmed by successful certification awarded by TÜV Nord. For two management systems the company has been granted the universally well-known seals of approval, one for the ISO 9001 certification and the other for the ISO 14001 certification.

Last year, the go-ahead was given for the introduction of an integrated management system, consisting of a quality and an environmental management system. For this purpose, all processes in all departments were documented, unnecessary processes were eliminated and many small and also big improvements were introduced. With the certification, Keller HCW intends to secure its competitiveness, to offer its customers improved cooperation through structured and environment-oriented working methods, and thus to secure the future of the company.

The international ISO 9001 standard documents that, with the introduction of its quality management system, all workflows at Keller HCW from enquiries to final erection on site are subject to constant control and therefore ongoing development and improvement. The second important topic concerned environmental aspects and was defined and evaluated in an extensive environmental management system according to ISO 14001. The process development even went beyond many points listed in the requirements of the international standards. With the objective of continuous improvement, the processes will be reviewed in “audits” and “reviews” at regular intervals.

Already since 1996, the business unit MSR (Measuring and Controlling) has been a pioneer in convincing its customers with an effective quality management system. This effectiveness was again demonstrated with this year‘s re-certification, as the TÜV certification body did not find any deviations. Keller MSR is now also happy to present its certification according to ISO 14001, the environmental management system, which was granted at the same time.

Dr Jochen Nippel, Managing Director of Keller HCW GmbH: “With its certification Keller HCW is committed to a clear strategy to organize its processes and workflow in a transparent way for its employees. A first step into this direction was made. We now have to improve and optimize the processes, and we also have to bring forward the adoption of the defined processes at the other sites of the Keller division. When pursuing these objectives, customer satisfaction is our first priority and this is ensured by our high standards concerning quality and environmental issues.”
