German Brick and Tile Industry under new leadership
An array of member meetings and the election of a new president for the Federal German Association of the Brick and Tile Industry saw strong attendance at this year’s Annual Meeting in Berlin. More than 150 representatives of the various institutions came together from 11 to 13 May, to work their way through an extensive programme.
Helmuth Jacobi hands over responsibility to Stefan Jungk
Stefan Jungk took over the presidency from Helmuth Jacobi, who has guided the fortunes of the industry association for 16 years now. Jacobi, who has headed the German brick and tile industry from 2001 to 2017, has also been Chairman of the Socio-Political Committee of the Federal Association since 2007. He has been a member of the Association Board since 1985 and therefore active in this body for 32 years.
