Guerrouache chooses Bongioanni
Bongioanni has recently signed an agreement with S.A.R.L Briquetterie Guerrouache, which will strengthen its presence in Algeria. This important supply contract concerns a new plant for 1 000 t/d, which has been built in Medjana, not far from the centre of Bordj Bou Arreridj, the chief town of this province.
The Italian company has equipped the production and extrusion line, supplying two Compact LI-810 refining roller mills, a MIX820I mixer, a Tecno 850 extruder with an 820D de-airing mixer. The supply agreement also includes state-of–the-art extrusion dies with multi-exits, connected to the pressure-head as well as the conical Omega extrusion die, both manufactured for the traditional products B8 – B12 and for hollow blocks, wall blocks and ceiling blocks.
The extrusion dies supplied are equipped with frames and cores made of the special BST02 material and exhibit high resistance to wear and corrosion. All the components of the Omega extrusion die that are in direct contact with the clay body are made of an anti-abrasion material. In particular, the stud bolts of the bridge holding cores that have been manufactured with numerical control in order to ensure high precision and to be able to use the latest materials. Moreover, a hard-facing chromium plating with strong thickness will also be applied.
Following completion of the delivery by Bongioanni, the electrical control boards, the water moisture regulation system, the clay spreaders and the belt conveyors were updated.
