Keller HCW and “Dubenski kirpitschny zawod“
celebrate the first tunnel kiln car
On “Russia Day” and in the presence of numerous invited guests, the director Sergej Stroitelev celebrated the first tunnel kiln car with fired bricks at the “Dubenski kirpichny zawod“ brickworks. Not only is 12 June an official holiday in the entire Russian Federation but this day will certainly live on as a day to be remembered in the development of the heavy clay industry in the Mordovian Republic and especially in the small town of Dubenki. In view of the importance of these events, the first tunnel kiln car with fired bricks was fittingly welcomed and christened with a bottle of champagne, with the lab experts enthusiastically declaring the bricks to be completely in line with the GOST standard for strength, so already fully marketable bricks could be unloaded from the very first kiln car.
This symbolic act can rightly be seen as the launch of the flagship of brick production in this region of the Russian Federation, as “Dubenski kirpitschny zawod“ with its annual output of 42.3 million NF units is not only one of the biggest and state-of-the-art brickworks of the Mordovian Republic but, thanks to its flexible production line, it will assume a leading role among the most modern brickworks in the entire Russian Federation.
