Responsible energy management to promote climate protection

Keller – certified under DIN EN ISO 50001:2011

For more than 120 years, Keller has been developing and manufacturing machinery and plants for the heavy clay industry at its headquarters in Ibbenbüren-Laggenbeck. Important guarantors evidencing that Keller ranks to this day among the most innovative and worldwide leading companies in its sector are its sustainable corporate policy and a process-oriented, integrated management system. This policy guarantees the high quality and the long life of the products, encourages innovation and developments and ensures the company‘s focus on environment protection.

In addition to voluntary certification under DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 and DIN EN ISO14001:2009, the Laggenbeck-based company with a long-standing tradition was awarded certification under DIN EN ISO 50001:2011 for all its sites already at the end of 2015. With this new certification, Keller commits itself not only to the well-established principles of quality assurance and environmental protection but also to responsible energy management.

„It is our goal,“ explains Dr Jochen Nippel, Keller‘s Managing Director, „to use all our potentials as far as possible to continuously increase energy efficiency in order to make an important contribution to climate protection. Keller HCW stands for modern and highly sophisticated technology developed and manufactured in accordance with the best possible quality and energy performance and the least possible environmental impact. This company policy ensures that we will continue to play a leading role in our industry in the medium and long term, too.“

The principles of Keller’s energy policy are, in addition to minimizing the energy input by using intelligent energy-monitoring systems, to raise our employees‘ awareness together with an energy-efficient procurement practice. For some years now, the company has been strictly prioritizing renewable energies when choosing its energy suppliers.
