Lingl continues success story in Algeria and supplies sixth production facility
Lingl has been able to conclude another contract for the construction of a complete production facility for wall bricks in Algeria. The plant will be located in the region of Médea, 100 km to the west of Algiers, and will be built by Lingl as general contractor for the brick manufacturer SARL B2L Pro. The complete production line consisting of preparation and shaping equipment, all machines as well as dryer and tunnel kiln will be delivered, installed and commissioned by Lingl. Designed for a capacity of 280 000 t of marketable products per year, production at the plant will be started in the spring 2015. The handling of products is taken over by industrial robots, whereas the products are dried in a Lingl Optiflow rapid dryer. This will be the sixth production facility “made in Germany” built by Lingl in Algeria.
