Röben thermobricks

New filling station and comprehensive system assortment

Röben Tonbaustoffe GmbH has invested heavily in their thermal brick plant located in Reetz, Brandenburg. They installed a new filling station that custom-fits blocks of mineral wool into the air chambers of porosity-enhanced clay masonry units. This new system substantially expanded Röben‘s thermobrick assortment. High-precision clay masonry units with integrated mineral-wool insulation are available from Röben as TV 7, TV 8, TV 9 and TV 10 models. The new TV 7, with its heat conduction coefficient of 0.07 W/(mK), enables construction of monolithic exterior walls with U-values as low as 0.16 W/(m2K) and is even suitable for use in state-subsidized KfW efficiency houses with no supplementary insulation.

Röben now markets a complete line of thermobricks, or insulating clay masonry units, encompassing all requisite wall thicknesses and geometries plus numerous system supplements and accessories that guarantee homogeneous masonry with no weak spots or heat bridges.
