Open for submissions until 30 June

To qualify for consideration in the selection process, submissions must be independently completed scientific works or dissertations that address the properties and production of high-temperature materials, the Eirich Group has announced. But other topics related to the refractories industry can be considered for the award. The work should have been completed no longer than two years ago.

With this science award, Eirich is supporting young talent in the industry segment in which the company’s products have been used for almost 100 years. In this context, Eirich is cooperating with the ECREF European Centre for Refractories, the research institute of the Association of the German Refractories Industry Regd.

This year’s Gustav Eirich Award will be presented during the International Colloquium on Refractories on 28/29 September 2022. By then, the international jury will select three winners, who will receive prize money.

Further information on the submission process, the focus topics or the jury is available at: http://www.ecref.eu
