This presentation explains the view of the Stephan Schmidt Group regarding the production of standardized clay blends. It addresses potential customer-oriented solutions for „problem cases“ in the heavy clay industry.
From a “standardized clay blend application range“ perspective, it addresses various problems confronting the ceramic industry and explains their customer-specific solutions. The lecture underlines the importance of a candid, trusting customer/supplier relationship. The production of standardized clay blends, too, is explained all the way from pit-clay exploration to the actual production of standardized clay blends. The importance of representative sampling via automatic belt samplers is emphasized in comparison with manual sampling.
