Erlus' E 58 Plus large-area tile achieves hail resistance class 5

The large-area tile model E 58 Plus by Erlus has been assigned to hail resistance class 5 on the basis of tests conducted by the Institute for Fire Protection and Safety Research (IBS) in Linz, Austria. The tests were conducted with and without storm clamps in order to cover all cases actually encountered in practice.
Upshot: The E 58 Plus remains completely intact and undamaged by hail stones measuring 5 cm in diameter. This puts the tile in hail resistance class 5, the highest of all.
