Sacmi-supplied automation arrives in Brazil

Sacmi Heavy Clay automation solutions will soon be on show in Brazil, at the important international Expocever fair being held in the city of Riodosul, in the State of Santa Caterina, from 23rd to 25th April. Visitors to the Sacmi stand will have the opportunity to get a close look at robotised solutions, developed and marketed by Gaiotto, that allow automated control of all key stages of the production process, from loading of the green product into the drier to unloading of the dry product, from handling on kiln cars to palletization.
The robot model on display at the fair, which features a dry product pickup gripper, can handle from 250 to 800 tons of product per day; it offers a clear response to the needs of highly dynamic markets such as the Brazilian one, where there are over 8000 furnaces and the demand for automated solutions is growing fast, especially from the larger companies.
This strategic event, then, will allow Sacmi Heavy Clay to finalise ongoing negotiations with numerous major brick manufacturers which, through this investment choice, will be able to boost their output performance, competitiveness and line efficiency.
