Shorter Saie well received

For the first time in 44 years, Saie was shortened by one day from five show days. The exhibitors were highly satisfied with these four busy days. The show organizers had assumed that the shorter show would lead to a considerable decline in visitor numbers. But this was not the case. With 176 113 visitors, of whom 7 257 came from abroad, approximately the same level was achieved as in 2007 (178 250).

In 2008 Saie inaugurated a two-storey hall with a good 20 000 m² in new hall area, which was immediately filled with exhibits on the topic of “Renewable Energies and Energy-Saving Technologies”. The 2008 Saie with its support programme was held under the motto of

energy saving. The next Saie will take place from 28 to 31 October 2009.
