A new brick and tile plant for Uganda Clays Ltd in Kamonkoli

The plant constructor Morando has built a new plant for Uganda Clays Ltd (UCL) in Kamonkoli (Budaka district), which was opened at the beginning of May. Six million roofing tiles and also half bricks or facing bricks will be produced here. It is intended to double the production in a second phase planned for 2011.

1 Introduction

Today the suppliers of complete preparation and production lines for the heavy clay industry must offer flexible, efficient and highly productive plants also in modular construction, which at the same time enable the customer to make savings in terms of costs, energy, work expenditure, process supervision and maintenance.
