Last year, Dutch machine builder De Boer celebrated not only its 75th founding anniversary, but also the inauguration of a new multifunctional building. The soft-mud specialist has decided to capture the Indian market with its soft mud presses and to debut a new filling solution for soft-mud presses at Ceramitec.
1 Introduction
When Gerrit de Boer founded his own company in 1936, he could hardly have guessed that, in the span of 75 years, his little workshop would evolve into one of the world‘s best-known producers of soft mud presses for the heavy clay industry. In fact, though, the De Boer Group did not stop there: they now also make and supply pallet handling machines, mixer presses, sand dryers, sand handling equipment, colorant dosing systems, dust extraction systems, process-water purification systems and a well-known line of mould chain systems.
