New production line for Terreal in Colomiers

After an extremely short construction and commissioning period, the innovative plant of the Group Terreal France in Colomiers near Toulouse, France, went into production. The annual production capacity of the facility built by the Italian plant constructor Marcheluzzo Impianti amounts to 200 000 t of precision-ground hollow blocks.
1 Cutter
After a careful analysis of the plant for the manufacture of masonry blocks, special attention was devoted to the cutting section which had to be designed for a series of new Terreal products, including for example an innovative system for applying the take-up pockets on all four sides of the blocks, depending on their running direction.
