Wienerberger Koramic introduces new Plano 11 under-ridge vent tile
At Roof + Timber International 2016, Wienerberger presented for the first time ever the Plano 11 under-ridge vent tile (made at the Straubing plant) for an all-ceramic ridge connection. Thanks to its specially designed head, this accessory tile provides for adequate ventilation along the ridge. At the same time, its interlock keeps out moisture, so the ridge requires no relevant supplementary measures – like ridge/arris roles, etc. In the interest of all-ceramic solutions, the collection includes whole and half under-ridge vent tiles along with the appropriate whole left and right under-ridge vent verge tiles. With its geometry and available range of colours, this new accessory ideally supplements the Plano 11 product line.
In addition to natural red, the available engobes include red, slate grey and black, plus a special anthracite engobe. The Sturmfix 2.0 storm-proofing system provides optimally safe, economical protection against wind uplift for the Plano 11.
