Alfons Hövelmeyer goes into well-earned retirement

Alfons Hövelmeyer, from
the Teutohang in Ibbenbüren, has now gone into well-earned retirement after 35 years of service for Keller, Laggenbeck.

After many years of education in Ibbenbüren, Tecklenburg and Saerbeck and after obtaining a degree at the engineering college Technikerschule, Osnabrück, in 1974 he started his career at the then Maschinenfabrik C. Keller & Co., where he was employed in the project planning and sales department for ceramic machines. Already after a short period, he was operating as Area Sales Manager, specialized in Eastern Europe. In addition to many Eastern Bloc states he travelled above all to the USSR, now Russia and the many independent states which arose from the former Soviet Union.

From these regions, Alfons Hövelmeyer received many large and important orders for the firm. And that is not all: he also brought his wife Olga with him from Russia.

Now in retirement, he is looking forward to being
at home in his house and garden and being able to spend much time for his children and grandchildren. The management of Keller HCW thanked the Area Sales Manager, Alfons Hövelmeyer, for his many years of service in the firm. Surrounded by present and former colleagues, he was seen off in style in a fitting ceremony.
