Kubrix AG has been formed from the brick plants of Keller Unternehmungen and Brauchli Ziegeleien as well as the three brick plants owned by the FBB Group. The new company will be operative as of 1 January 2021 and will then, according to a statement released by the company, be the leading supplier of masonry products in Switzerland.

As family-owned companies, the brick plants of Keller Unternehmungen, Brauchli Ziegeleien and the FBB Group can look back on a history steeped in tradition. The brick business has contributed to the success of all three companies over many years. To successfully meet future challenges on the masonry market, the three companies have now founded Kubrix.

“Kubrix brings together more than 160 years of experience in the development, production and sale of ceramic products on the Swiss masonry market. We are proud to continue our tradition by joining forces and to offer the most comprehensive Swiss-made assortment of innovative masonry products,” says Christian Keller, co-owner of the Keller Unternehmungen, who will head up Kubrix’ operations as managing director.

As of 1 January 2021, the development, production of the bricks and the sale of the products of all three companies will be transferred to the newly established Kubrix AG based in Pfungen. The new PLC with around 60 specialist employees will operate over different sites in Switzerland.
