At the beginning of 2009, Gerhard Fischer (47) was appointed Managing Director of Händle GmbH Maschinen und Anlagenbau and Händle Grundbesitz und Verwaltung GmbH, and took up his post alongside John S. Steele (59).
Gerhard Fischer has been working for the company since 1982, most recently as manager of the company’s engineering division. He succeeds Klaus A. Cramer (61), who, after six successful years at the head of Händle, is now devoting himself exclusively to his work as a management consultant.
With this change in the management team, the way has been paved for the further continuous development of the Händle enterprises, after personnel changes made at the beginning of last year brought in a new, younger generation on the division manager level.
With these measures, the sale process of the majority shareholder J. C. Steele Deutschland GmbH has been completed and a long-term commitment assured. Representatives of the Händle family also continue to stand behind the company, which is in an excellent position both technically and economically.
