Cleia builds one of the biggest Mono-line brick plants in the Maghreb

Argibordj, a company in the
Guerrouache Group, has contracted Cleia to construct a new brick plant in Algeria.

The new plant is located on the Algerian highlands in the Bordj Bou Arreridj region. The project aims to build the biggest production line in the Maghreb. It integrates state-of-the-art technologies developed by Cleia. With its high output and flexibility, this plant has been designed to optimally respond to the needs of the domestic market through a wide range of products. For the development of this very ambitious project, the Guerrouache management has chosen Cleia because of its team’s professionalism and expertise and the exceptional relationships that have been forged between the two companies.

Impressive components in this plant, the construction of which is already under way, include a 13-m-wide rapid dryer and an airtight 200-m-long tunnel kiln made of refractory elements with suspended ceiling.

This new multi-product brick plant integrates all the major innovations developed as part of the Cleia Brick Plant 4.0 Concept including

a Zephyr dryer

a Technofast tunnel kiln

RoboCer handling equipment

OpenCer supervision system

With this new production line, scheduled to be com­missioned in the course
of 2015, the Guerrouache Group can realize its plans to develop new building materials.
