Secure fixing of façades

Working alongside installation companies, architects, planners and structural engineers are faced with the challenge of fixing facades securely while combining high quality with visually attractive fixing systems. In cooperation with Schlagmann Poroton, Tox-Dübeltechnik, a manufacturer of fixings, conducted appropriate tests in 2020. Building approvals and certificates were subsequently obtained for different systems.

For fixing façades, three clay blocks from the Schlagmann portfolio have been added to the European rating for the façade anchor Tox-Fassad ø 10mm. The manufacturer of wall plugs and fixings is making a calculation service available for façade anchoring so that the installers at the construction site can ensure fast and secure fixing.

Floor-to-ceiling windows as fall-guard components

Floor-to-ceiling windows often act as fall-guard components. For this application, Schlagmann and Tox have had the Fassad anchor certified with the Poroton S9 block by Fast 3 Solution, the transfer and startup centre at the University of Stuttgart. Fassad meets all requirements of the ETB guideline (Components to protect against falls) and is therefore predestined for reliable anchoring of fall-guard windows.
