Lingl awarded order for a robot setting installation in Brazil

Lingl has made a successful start in Brazil. Exactly half a year after taking part at the trade fair in Florianópolis/Brazil, the Krumbach-based company has won a contract for the supply of a robot setting installation to Scarpinelli, a Brazilian-based company. The robot setting system is to be installed in the new EcoGres factory.

Managing Director Andreas Lingl is very confident with regard to developments on the Brazilian market: “Brazil is strategically very important as a market for us as high growth rates in the building construction industry are expected there. We are delighted that in such a short time after the trade fair we have been able to make so many good contacts and have now received the first order.”

Scarpinelli is based in Jundiaí in the Brazilian state of São Paulo and produces the typical Brazilian masonry bricks with the widths 290, 390 and 440 mm and heights ranging between 90 and 190 mm at two sites. The Scarpinelli Group, one of the leading masonry brick producers in greater area of São Paulo, wants to consolidate its market position with the setting up of “EcoGres” as its third production facility.
