Fabio Tarozzi – new Chairman of Acimac

New Chairman of the Italian Ceramic Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers’ Association, Acimac, is Fabio Tarozzi, Siti B&T Group.

During his four-year term of office, the association will therefore concentrate on strengthening support for exports. Another point on the new programme is credit support, for which purpose Acimac will be liaising continuously with banks and public and private institutions, especially at an international level. The association will also be seeking to align the credit ratings of the ceramic machinery manufacturers with those of other strongly export-oriented sectors, thereby freeing the industry from the cyclic nature of the Italian building industry.

Under Tarozzi, the Association will also continue to promote awareness of the importance of dimensional growth of companies, which is the real weakness faced by small and medium-sized companies wishing to pursue international development.

The Association will also focus on seeking research and innovation funding and on liaising with schools and universities.
