KELLER HCW starts the new year 2026 with a new focus

According to a statement issued in November 2025, KELLER HCW, based in Ibbenbüren-Laggenbeck and a supplier of plants and machinery for the heavy clay industry, was pursuing a plan to implement the reorganisation announced in summer 2025 by the turn of the year. The company is concentrating its activities on growth markets and will offer a focused machine portfolio in three business areas in future. KELLER HCW is thus strengthening its core competencies in order to serve markets and partners even better in future.

KELLER HCW focuses on growth markets

KELLER HCW is implementing its reorganisation announced in summer 2025 as planned. The Ibbenbüren-based machine manufacturer will concentrate its activities on growth markets in future and offer a focused machine portfolio that specifically covers individual components within existing or planned plants for the production of bricks and roof tiles. These include cutters, grinding machines, foil peeling machines and palletising systems. In addition, the company will continue to develop and produce innovative technical solutions that are in high demand in the wake of the energy transition. The company will remain part of the Legris Industries Group in the future. The implementation of the realignment was preceded by constructive and targeted negotiations with the general works council, which were concluded on 13 November 2025. In future, KELLER HCW will employ around 130 people.

Andrea Pasquali, CEO of KELLER HCW, emphasises that the reorientation will strengthen the company‘s core competencies, enabling it to continue offering its customers the greatest possible added value in the future. ‘We are focusing our activities on growth markets and using our technological expertise to drive forward the electrification of kilns, the decarbonisation of existing plants and the development of energy-efficient process technologies.’

With this realignment, KELLER HCW is responding to market developments in the heavy clay industry in recent years, which have been characterised above all by declining demand for turnkey plants for the manufacture of heavy clay products. Such turnkey plants – previously part of the Heavy Clay (HC) division‘s portfolio – will no longer be offered in future.

Realignment with three business divisions in future: KTS, ITS and IAS

As part of the realignment, KELLER HCW will consist of three business divisions in future. The new Keller Technologies & Services (KTS) division will be created from the merger of the Heavy Clay (HC) and Spare Parts and Services (HC SPS) divisions. The two business units Infrared Temperature Solutions (ITS) and Intelligent Automation Solutions (IAS) are not affected by the changes. The HC SPS, ITS and IAS business units have grown in recent years with a stable customer base in various industries.

The new Keller Technology and Services (KTS) business unit will jointly serve the customers of the current Heavy Clay and Spare Parts and Service business units. In order to continue serving the existing customer base in the future, the existing service and sales teams will therefore merge into one team. This change will make processes more efficient and improve the support provided to KELLER HCW‘s customers and partners.
