Ceramitec 2009 defies the economic crisis and stays on course for success

Six months before the start of Ceramitec 2009, preparations are well on track: despite the difficult economic situation, the level of registrations so far is higher than at the same point before the last event.

“Ceramitec is the trade fair that best reflects the broad scope and diversity in the ceramics industry. Even when times are tough, it is able to show companies that it is the most important industry gathering at international level“, said Eugen Egetenmeir, a member of the management board of Messe München.

Even at the last event, over 50% of the exhibiting companies came from outside Germany. And now, with registrations coming in from companies in a good 35 countries, international participation is once again set to be very high. In fact Ceramitec is one of the most international of all the trade fairs and exhibitions held in Munich.

It is particularly pleasing to see that all the key companies in the sector have now registered their participation in the 11th International Trade Fair for Machinery, Equipment, Plant, Processes and Raw Materials for Ceramitecs and Powder Metallurgy, which takes place from 20 to 23 October 2009. Among those present in Munich will be, for example, Keyria, Lingl, Bongioanni, Sacmi, Keda, Dorst, Stephan Schmidt, Zschimmer & Schwarz, Riedhammer, Eisenmann and Schunk.
