Prague’s construction trade fair For Arch celebrates a “round anniversary”

This year the For Arch international construction trade fair in Prague will open its gates for the 20th time. From 20 to 26 September enterprises in and around the construction industry will have the opportunity to present their products and services at this show. Last year the organizers were able to welcome over 1 000 exhibitors as well as a good 112 000 visitors from a total of 21 nations, and the figures are on the up. For German companies too, the trade fair presents an ideal platform to inform visitors about their products and services and establish contacts in the Czech market. For this year, ABB, Bosch Thermotechnik, Hoco Bauelemente, Schneider Electric and Wienerberger and others have already registered. The extensive support programme comprising conferences, seminars, workshops and award ceremonies along with the ancillary fairs For
Invest, For Wood and For
Elektro rounds off the trade fair’s attractions. The For Arch show gives German companies the opportunity to present themselves on an international platform and particularly to focus on Eastern Europe and the EU member states.

Interested companies can get help with this from
the Marketinginstitut für deutsch-tschechische Wirtschaft (MDTW), a market
institute specializing in
German-Czech business relations, headquartered in Frankfurt/Main.

For Arch targets all companies involved in the construction sector and sees itself as a meeting point for investors, developers, manufacturers, suppliers and trade professionals. There will be practical demonstrations of the building trades and awards for the best innovative product and the best fair stand. Other highlights are the presentation of the award for the best architect of the year and the international competition for the best apprentices in the construction industry.

Apart from its involvement with the trade fair, MDTW specializes in actively supporting German companies in building up their sales in the Czech and Slovak Republics. Besides marketing campaigns, the focus is on consultation to help companies generate new orders and win new customers.

About MDTW:

includes detailed market analyses as well as seminars and workshops. Clients from IT and software, machine engineering, the automotive industry and the solar industry have all successfully realized projects with the
