Acquisition of Lehmorange

With effect from 1 July 2021, Ziegelwerke Leipfinger-Bader, a brick company based in Vatersdorf, Lower Bavaria, has taken over Lehmorange, a company in Störnstein. With this deal, Leipfinger-Bader is widening its product portfolio to include sustainable and innovative solutions for interior finishing, according to a company press release.

“We are anchoring ecological drywall construction with clay boards in the market and consolidating our own position as a leading company in natural building material solutions. Lehmorange impresses with its strong product know-how and has enormous potential for growth. With our wide sales network, we shall establish it as benchmark system for sustainable interior finishing and offer the market completely new opportunities,” explains Thomas Bader, Managing Director at Leipfinger-Bader.

Besides clay boards – on request, combined with intelligent heating and cooling systems, the Lehmorange solutions comprise various paints and plasters. Following the takeover by Leipfinger-Bader, company founder Peter Gmeiner will steward the further development of the sustainable clay interior wall solutions as a product expert. Existing production structures and all jobs will also be retained.
