Tunisian firm BMT chooses Sacmi Heavy Clay

Sacmi Heavy Clay has recently supplied two innovative combustion systems to a facility owned by BMT Briqueterie El Mostakbel, Tunisia. These new systems are designed to achieve considerable energy savings.

Based in the city of Teboulba, the BMT produces B8 and B12 hollow bricks. As part of a drive towards greater energy efficiency on the two existing production lines, BMT commissioned Sacmi to modernize the two kilns installed downstream: these kilns will be equipped with high-speed burners and combustion modulation systems.

This latest order reinforces the Sacmi Group‘s position in the region and is the first stage of a broader plant modernization and renewal project on which the Sacmi Heavy Clay team is working in concert with BMT staff. The goal of this project is to reduce the company‘s energy consumption even further while enhancing product quality and overall plant efficiency.

With the contract, Sacmi has acquired a new customer in this strategically important market.
