A&B Impianti

A&B Impianti is an Italian company based in Asti and has been a member of Dragon &  Strong Group since 2007. The company is presenting the TRV rotating cutter with continuous rotation of the cutting wires, which was developed in cooperation with a specialist in the cutting technology sector.
Derived from the “flying saw” type cutters, it features an innovative concept based on continuous rotation of the cutting wires, which brings the following advantages:
› elimination of the wire return movement after the cut
› reduction in dragging movement on the base of the extruded material
› elimination of the wire return time, and therefore three times higher working speed than conventional cutters
› the cutting length can be set directly from the control panel
› the new chamfering system chamfers three or four faces of the brick, it is extremely precise
› wire cleaning is performed by a spec profile, no contaminations on the materials by the cutting residues
› the cut pieces are spaced by belts driven by brushless motors
› wire breakage controlled
› all the brushless motors are integrated into an axis control system
› the control system is equipped with a user-friendly HMI
The cutting system meets typical needs associated with the production of high-quality facing materials, combining high cutting speed with high precision. The use of components from leading manufacturers ensures reliability and durability together with ease of procuring spare parts.
