Fanuc appoints new board for Europe

Fanuc has strengthened the European executive committees and restructured responsibility for operational activities. For the first time, three Europeans are joining the existing, but now reformed Board of Directors of Fanuc Europe Corporation, Echternach/Luxemburg. Olaf Kramm, Managing Director of Fanuc Deutschland GmbH, Ralf Zeisberger, CFO at Fanuc Europe, and Chris Sumner, based in Echternach and responsible for the European service business and now also for the Eastern European branches, are bolstering the European influence within the twelve-member Board of Directors. With Olaf Kramm, for the first time an executive actively working in operational sales has been appointed to this committee. The new Board took up work on 24 March 2015.

Another structural optimization is the appointment of the three European Board members as well as four other representatives of the European Fanuc companies as vice-presidents with effect from 1 April 2015. They will support European President Olaf C. Gehrels. This will make the European management leaner than before.
