Beralmar supplies new hot air generation system to Morocco

T he Spanish company Beralmar has supplied a new system for the generation of clean hot air with biomass firing for the Moroccan brickworks Briqueterie Midibriq, Tangiers.

A CSD/1500 direct flame combustion chamber and a GB/1500 heat exchanger have been installed. The machines are coupled to provide a maximum output of 1 500 000 Kcal/h thermal energy in the form of clean hot air with a maximum temperature of 150 °C.

The fuel used is olive pomace left over from the olive oil pressing process. This fuel is available in large quantities in Morocco and can be used as a substitute for a considerable quantity of fuel oil in the Moroccan ceramics plants.
